SH 157

This is our ocean view three bedroom / two bath flat. You enter on the first floor and won't need to worry about climbing stairs. This makes your stay more convenient without the need to carry beach equipment up and down stairs. The unit has enough to sleep seven comfortably. It is furnished with a king bed in the master suite, Queen, two twins, and a sleeper sofa. There are two TV's, a DVD and a stereo for entertainment within the condo. At Summerhouse we have 4 temperature regulated pools to choose from on property making it comfortable to swim all year round! There are also four tennis courts, two racquetball courts and one pickleball court. We have two grilling areas and two playgrounds for the kids conveniently located at either end of the property. Our common area around the pools are covered with luscious well-maintained grass with a short walk to the beach. Our rental unit has a friendly front office staff and maintenance on site to help resolve any problem quickly if they should arise. We have a small library and a gym available during normal business hours for your convenience.

  We had a great week at Summerhouse and booked this same 3 bedroom condo again for next year. The location was perfectly located close to the pool and the walkway to beautiful Crescent Beach - my favorite beach! My only recommendations would be to equip the condo with beach towels and especially with some beach chairs. Those are a bit too much for us to pack in our suitcases. And, why should we have to buy those things when we have to buy so many groceries since no condiments can be left. It was extremely upsetting to throw away all food items. Perhaps Summerhouse could set up a Food Shelf for the needy? I realize open containers can not be saved. We would have given food to neighbors, but it seemed everyone was leaving since it was the end of the month. I also realize COVID changed many things, but even leaving things like salt and pepper would be nice.

  Condo was well furnished, stocked with linens and utensils. All furniture and mattress were extremely comfortable. Only drawback was they air conditioner would not cool lower than 77 degrees. Luckily there was a breeze and we opened up the doors and windows. We also brought in fans.

  SH 157 was a wonderful rental for our family over Labor Day week. Very nice furniture and bedding as well as very comfortable too. I loved the kitchen area and new appliances and the bedrooms were very spacious. The ground floor is easily accessible to the pool and walking to the beach was a breeze. I would definitely book this condo again.

  A tray in the refrigerator was cracked but still usable. The broom was in really bad shape and we could have used a good dust pan and mop. These are minor though. Overall a great unit. Cookware was awesome.

  My wife has been coming to summerhouse since she as a little girl and now we have started bringing our kids to start their tradition, everything about the beach/pool/condo locations are perfect for small children running around. As far as the unit #157 it was perfect for the week we stayed, beds were comfortable, all appliances worked and we had no real complaints except for the dated bathrooms. We actually booked this same 3br for the same time last year so we are hoping they might do some bathroom remodeling but othering it was a perfect stay!

  The unit was clean. However, it does need updating. All of the glass top tables are very scratched up, the furniture is worn down, & the beds are not comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked so that made it nice. Our one complaint is the unit didn’t have any beach chairs to use. We flew down and can’t bring our own so it would be nice for the unit to have some chairs for those that fly down to use.
  All in all, it was a good stay!

  Overall Unit 157 fits a family well with the bedrooms and living space. The kitchen is well equipped. Also great location near the pool and ocean. Only recommendations is the master bath needs to be updated as well as some of the outlets and air conditioner.

  We have been coming to Summerhouse with family and friends annually for 30 plus years. It is a wonderful place for families. Safe, quiet, very well maintained. Beautiful grounds. Close access to the beach, although the stairs may be a challenge for some. I think one walkway may have a ramp. Unit 157 was very nice. I would definitely rent 157 again. The location is really nice. Close to the pool and the walkway to the beach. If there was a con it would be some of the beds were uncomfortable but they never sleep like your bed at home😊
